Freely Supported Bungee

The WaterRower uses a freely supported bungee connected to a flat webbing which glide frictionlessly around guide pulleys

Because the bungee does not pass around a pulley system, typical of conventional rowers, there is no wear on the bungee

Passing a bungee over a pulley cause abrasion of the bungee as it stretches and contracts with use and will lead to imminent failure

Causing machine downtime, staff burden and customer dissatisfaction
